3D printingmaterials.
A range of materials to suit every project. Each one has its own characteristics, so the choice follows what the part has to do.
Choose your resin material
ABS-like resin
A high-performance resin formulated to mimic the thermoplastic behaviour of ABS, balancing strength against flexibility.
Standard 14K resin (high resolution)
Formulated for high-resolution LCD screens, this resin captures the finest detail with minimal shrinkage.
Ultra tough resin (extra strong)
An industrial-grade resin with superior mechanical strength and a high capacity to deform before it breaks.
PLA
PLA (polylactic acid) is a bioplastic made from corn starch. It is the most widely used material in 3D printing, thanks to how easy it is to print and its low environmental impact.
PETG
PETG (glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate) combines the strengths of PLA and ABS. It offers good mechanical and chemical resistance while remaining easy to print.
ABS
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is an engineering thermoplastic widely used in industry. It offers excellent mechanical properties and good heat resistance.
TPU
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a flexible, elastic material. Ideal for parts that need to give, such as seals, protective shells or soles.
ASA
ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is similar to ABS but holds up far better to UV light and weather. Ideal for outdoor applications.
PA
PA (polyamide, also known as nylon) is an engineering thermoplastic valued for its toughness and wear resistance. It takes repeated friction and flexing without breaking, where PLA or PETG would give way.
CF
CF (carbon fibre) is a filler added to a base polymer, most often polyamide. It brings a stiffness and dimensional stability the polymer alone cannot reach, at a weight that stays low. It is the material of the rally air box shown in our work.

Strengths
- •High impact resistance
- •Good toughness
- •Easy to paint and sand
- •High level of detail
Limitations
- •Needs post-processing (washing and UV curing)
- •Sensitive to prolonged UV exposure unless varnished
